Now is the time to call for prime hunting dates for your party.

     Hunt Whitewing Dove near fabulous Lake Guerrero in the state of Tamaulipas in north-eastern Mexico.   A wonderful Mexican wingshooting adventure at Hacienda Santa Fe is complemented by our beautiful lodge, superb dining and our knowledgeable staff.  Our dedicated staff is focused on your comfort and enjoyment.
     We are located near Abasolo the Mexican Refuge for the preservation of roosting habitat of the whitewing dove.  The limits are very liberal and the shooting is great with 250 to 300 round hunts.  Your hunting adventure will begin with your party being picked up in McAllen or Harlingen, Texas around mid-morning by our driver.  Your party will be taken to Hacienda Santa Fe for a superb lunch.  Then your party will be driven to one of our hot spots for an afternoon of fantastic white winged dove shooting.  Your needs in the field will be seen to by your assigned guide and bird boy.  He will keep the boxes of shotgun shells handy as well as cold refreshments.  After all of the shooting action you will take a short drive back to the lodge for supper and great tales of all the great shots you and your party made.  All of our meals are prepared by our chef and are outstanding.  You will be awakened the following morning with fresh squeezed orange juice and coffee in bed followed by a hearty breakfast.  You will be then driven to the dove fields where you will be taken to a prime spot.  Sometime after sunrise the dove start their flight into the grain fields.  The shooting is fast and steady.  After the morning shoot we will return for lunch and if you desire a short nap.  You will then repeat the sequence that afternoon.  After the hunt you will be driven back to the lodge and treated to a great supper.  We will cook the extra birds for your party on the grill in a manner that will have you begging for the recipe. Of course, if you do not want any game, our chef will have no problem tantalizing your taste buds with his many other traditional recipes.  Your trip will be designed to fit your time schedule and will include hunting sessions, transportation to and from hunting fields, bird boy, automatic shotgun, all meals, beer, cold drinks, bottled water, margaritas, game prepared for trip home and Mexican hunting permit.  Not included: tips and shotgun shells.  
    This is a great wing shooting opportunity and we at Hacienda Santa Fe will make it “hassle free” for you and your party.
